FOTOS | Por temor al Covid-19, pareja opta por un parto en casa en la CDMX

Después de casi 15 horas de trabajo de parto, Karla López recibió una advertencia de su partera: si no da a luz ahora, tendremos que llevarla de inmediato al hospital. Aunque estaba agotada y maltratada por las contracciones, López sabía que el hospital era el último lugar donde quería estar. Era la mañana del 25 de mayo, y los casos de coronavirus crecían en Ciudad de México. Así, mientras se acercaba la fecha, la pareja se apresuró a encontrar un plan alternativo que evitara los hospitales. La pareja, ambos de 24 años, se mudó a un pequeño departamento en un barrio de Ciudad de México con menos casos. Contrataron parteras que se especializan en brindar sus servicios a domicilio y compraron una piscina inflable.
