SYNOPSIS:
María Segovia was unjustly sentenced to 25 years in prison for murdering a man, a crime she did not commit. Maria entered pregnant of the most coveted politician of Mexico Ignacio Alcázar who abandoned her and rejected her for her alleged crime. In jail Maria suffered all kinds of horrors and vexations. But Carmen helped her every single day that she lived there.
When Maria gave birth to her daughter, her mother-in-law Prudencia Alcázar was responsible for the disappearance of the daughter of Maria with the help of Esther, one of the women prison wardens who gave the order to a nurse who killed the girl, But she, in her desperation, hands the girl to Luis Fernández, the vegetable delivery man from the prison.
That same day Ignatius decided to marry Eugenia Torres Velázquez, a wealthy woman with a good family, but what Ignatius does not know is that Prudencia and Eugenia destroyed María and took her down. It’s been 25 years and María recovered her freedom, but days before this Carmen will make a confession to Maria, her daughter is alive, she never died, because Esther told María 25 years ago that her daughter had died. It is then that Maria has two objectives to find her daughter and take revenge on the Alcázar family.
