SYNOPSIS:
Teresa Suárez “Paloma”, is a woman who works as a collector in the coffee plantations of the “White House” in Veracruz. The coffee plantations are owned by the Sánchez Serrano family. After the death of the owner, the patriarch of the family (Don Lorenzo Sánchez Serrano), in the wake “Paloma” meets one of the grandchildren of Don Lorenzo, Diego Sánchez Serrano and falls in love with him,who in turn corresponds to him.

The reading of the will of Don Lorenzo Sánchez Serrano is carried out, which determinesthat the totality of the inheritance will be granted to the first child of one of his malegrand children, which causes a general rupture of the family. A part of the properties, El Cafetalero, remains in the hands of his son Juan Francisco Sánchez Serrano, his wife Ángela Vallejo de Sánchez Serrano, his sons Fabián Sánchez Serrano and his wife Bárbara Castrejón de Sánchez Serrano and Bernardo Sanchez Serreno.

The other part, La Hacienda Casa Blanca, remains in the hands of his other son Joaquín Sánchez Serrano, his wife Carlota de Sánchez Serrano and their children Diego Sánchez Serrano, Daniela Sánchez Serrano and Diana Sánchez Serrano. There is also a special envelope with instructions not to open until four years from now. After a fleeting affair with “Paloma”, Diego goes to London for somemonths to finish its studies. Meanwhile,"Paloma” discovers that she is pregnant, so she decides to go to Europe in search of Diego to inform her of her condition. However, to travel to Europe she accepts to be anagency model in Paris, but this is a hoaxsince the photographer who hires her is a whitehandler. While “Paloma” is lost in Europe Diego returns to Mexico up on learning of the tragic death of his parents.
