La pole fue la sexta en las últimas siete pruebas para Verstappen y la décima de su carrera.
“Es una sensación increíble, por supuesto, conseguir la pole position aquí", dijo Verstappen mientras su “Ejército Naranja” de seguidores celebraba con bengalas y gritos. “La multitud es increíble”.
